Taste of the Rams 2019 was held at Universal Studios Hollywood to support the LA Food Bank just in time for the holidays. Chef Kristen Thibeault was a featured chef at the event- bringing the only vegan dish of the evening. Chef presented the dish that won her the 2013 San Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef award, Crispy Vegan Sweetbread and Wild Mushroom Ragout on Celeriac Puree.
Among the visitors of Chef’s station was none other than star running back of the LA Rams, Todd Gurley, who also served as Honorary Chair of the event. He took the time to share a laugh with Chef Kristen and had a some of her award-winning dish which employs the flavors of mushrooms and Chinese 5-Spice to replicate the bold flavors of traditional sweetbread.
Thanks to the NFL, Rams, attendees and chefs- we are happy to report the event raised over $150,000 for the LA Food Bank!
